Lurecoursing was first demonstrated in Norway april 2000. Wellington and Waterloo Surprise showed exceptional skills.
There has never been any greyhound stadium in Norway and no lurecoursing until then. I had trained my dogs at the greyhoundstadium in Alingsås in Sweden for some time. 270 km away from home, that is 4 hours to and fro to let the dogs run for 40 seconds!
In a couple of weeks Wellington and Waterloo Surprise had their license, and in June Wellington made his debut in International competition in Sweden. He got CAC, CACIL, best of breed and 3. best in field.
Since then i have started my dogs all over Europe in national and international competitions.So far 17 afghans bred or owned by me have a lurecoursing licence or are the way to get it:
